SBI Asha Scholarship 2026 Notification

The SBI Foundation, under its flagship Integrated Learning Mission (ILM), has invited online applications for the SBI Asha Scholarship Program 2026. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students from economically weaker families, enabling them to continue their education without financial constraints.

Students studying in Classes 6–12, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, IITs, IIMs, NITs, Professional Courses, and Top 50 NIRF-ranked institutions can apply based on their eligibility. Scholarship amounts range from ₹15,000 to ₹15,00,000.

Scholarship Categories & Amount

1. School Students (Classes 6–12)

  • Scholarship: ₹15,000
  • Students studying in Classes 6 to 12 are eligible.
  • Minimum 75% marks (or 7.5 CGPA) in the previous academic year.
  • Annual family income should not exceed ₹3,00,000.

2. Undergraduate Students

  • Scholarship: ₹75,000
  • Minimum 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA in the previous examination.
  • Annual family income should not exceed ₹6,00,000.
  • Applicable for students enrolled in recognized colleges and universities.

3. Postgraduate Students

  • Scholarship: ₹1,50,000
  • Minimum 75% marks/7.5 CGPA in the previous qualifying examination.
  • Family income should not exceed ₹6,00,000 annually.

4. IIT Students

  • Scholarship: ₹2,00,000
  • Students studying in IITs are eligible.
  • Minimum 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA.
  • Annual family income should be within the prescribed limit.

5. NIRF Top 50 Institutions

  • Students admitted to Top 50 NIRF-ranked institutions are eligible.
  • Scholarship Amount: ₹2,00,000
  • Family income limit: ₹7.5 lakh per annum.

6. IIM Students

  • Scholarship: ₹5,00,000
  • Students pursuing management education in IIMs can apply.
  • Annual family income should not exceed ₹7.5 lakh.

7. Professional Education

  • Scholarship: ₹15,00,000
  • Applicable to eligible students pursuing professional courses in premier institutions.
  • Students must satisfy academic and income criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should:

  • Be Indian citizens.
  • Meet the minimum academic performance requirement.
  • Belong to economically weaker families.
  • Be studying in recognized educational institutions.
