Telangana IFMIS Paperless Bill Submission from 15 August 2026 – Finance Department Issues New Guidelines

IFMIS Goes Paperless: Telangana Government Makes Digital Bill Submission Mandatory from August 15, 2026

The Government of Telangana has announced a major reform in its financial administration by making the submission of bills through the Integrated Financial Management and Information System (IFMIS) completely paperless. As per Finance (BG) Department Memo No. 3994793-H/251/A1/BG/2026, dated 28 July 2026, all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) must submit bills only through the IFMIS portal using digital signatures from 15 August 2026.

This initiative aims to improve transparency, reduce paperwork, speed up bill processing, and strengthen digital governance across all government departments.
