Preparation Plan for Working Teachers
Because applicants are already serving teachers, preparation time may be limited. A realistic plan is more useful than collecting too many materials.
- Start with the official syllabus: Mark every topic as strong, moderate or weak.
- Give daily attention to pedagogy: Child Development and Pedagogy carries 30 marks in both papers.
- Practise the CBT format: Use the official mock test when it becomes available on the portal.
- Revise languages regularly: Language-I and English together carry 60 marks.
- Attempt timed practice: Train yourself to answer 150 questions within 150 minutes.
- Keep an error notebook: Record concepts behind incorrect answers and revise them weekly.
- Use classroom experience: Connect pedagogy concepts with real teaching-learning situations instead of memorising definitions alone.
